Skilled labor

Overhire crew, called by the day.

Vetted trades for the shops and producers who are already full — carpenters, welders, graphics installers, certified operators and licensed drivers. They arrive with their own tools and go home when the job does. You carry no headcount between jobs.

Skilled labor · Los Angeles · Nationwide

The crew you call when the build lands on top of another one.

Carpenters · Welders · Installers · Operators · Drivers

We are a standing labor resource for the agencies, producers and fabrication shops behind brand experiences. Vetted trades, their own tools, called by the day. Keep us on file and use us the weeks you need us.

Use

Overhire crew.

The bulk of what we do, and what we are built around.

You have the shop, the drawings and the client. What you don't have, this particular week, is enough hands — because two builds landed on the same dates, or a job grew, or three people are already out on another install.

That is the entire problem we solve. You call the number, tell us the trades and the call time, and vetted people show up ready to work. When the job ends, they go away again. You carry no headcount between jobs, run no recruiting, and absorb none of the churn.

Vetted before we send themNobody arrives on your floor who we haven't put on a job ourselves.
Their own toolsBelts, and the trade-specific kit. You are not lending anybody a driver.
Experienced enough to leave aloneMost of our bench came out of the television and film unions. They read a drawing set and they know what a hard date means.
Under your nameWe work to your standards and your drawings. Your lead runs the day, or ours does. Your client never meets us.
Any trade on the listCarpenters, welders, graphics installers, certified operators, licensed drivers, and leads to run them.
By the day, not the contractNo retainer, no minimum commitment, nothing owed between jobs.
Position
If you have a shop, we staff it. We are not bidding against you.

We exist to be the resource other shops and producers reach for, not a competitor for their work. We do not approach your clients, we do not put our name on your build, and we are equally happy being invisible.

Crew

Who we can put on your floor.

Tell us the trades and the headcount. If we don't have the right hand available for your dates, we say so rather than sending you the wrong one — which is the only reason a crew like this is worth keeping on file.

Every position below is priced by the day, and quoted before anyone is committed.

How a call works.

  1. Send the callHeadcount, trades, call time, location, and how long you expect the day to run. A drawing set helps but is not required for labor.
  2. We confirm the crewYou get names and a rate against your dates before anyone is committed.
  3. They show up readyOn time, with tools, dressed for the site. Your lead runs the day, or ours does.
  4. We invoice the callDay rate by position, the same overtime structure every time. No retainer, and nothing owed between jobs.

Get the rates. Use them when you need them.

The most useful thing we can do today is give you a rate sheet and a number to call, so that the week a build lands on top of another one you are not starting from scratch.

No obligation and no follow-up campaign. Put us in the file and forget about us until you are short.

Fabrication · Los Angeles shop

Built in our shop. Installed by our crew.

Scenic · Metal · Acrylic · Fixtures · Graphics

Scenic fabrication, custom displays, retail fixtures and trade show exhibits — drawn, built and finished in Los Angeles, then delivered and installed by the same people who made them.

Why
One crew from drawing set to load-out.

The people who install it are the people who built it. Nothing gets explained twice, nothing arrives on site that nobody in the truck has seen before, and when something needs solving at 4am on a load-in, the person solving it already knows how the piece goes together.

Shop

What we build.

Work that has to look finished under a camera and survive a strike at the end of the week — or stay up for years and be looked at closely the whole time.

Work

Selected work.

Much of what we build is subcontracted and stays unnamed. What it looks like:

Festival

Activation footprints in the California desert — structures, stages and branded environments built to a hard date and struck the same week.

Award season

Red carpet and award-show builds where the load-in window is the entire risk and the finish has to hold up on camera.

Retail rollout

Multi-store fixture programs and store buildouts running across many locations at once, in and out of trading hours.

Trade show

Booth fabrication for convention centers, crated and shipped, with receiving and storage between shows.

Photo moments

Trifold walls, dimensional letters, brushed metal and mirrored finishes — the piece everybody in the room photographs.

Permanent

Museum, institutional and long-term installations built to stay up, and to survive being looked at closely.

Send us the drawing set.

Or a rendering, or a photo of something similar and a date. We would rather have a real conversation about what it takes to build than send back a number against a guess.
